Effective January 1, 2023, our health insurance plan will be changing to the High Deductible Florida Sheriffs Health Plan through United HealthCare. The initial benefit period for your elections will be January 1 through September 30, 2023.
The annual benefits open enrollment period (November 8th through November 30th, 2022) is the one occasion each year when employees have the opportunity to make voluntary changes to enrollment elections for their health, dental and vision insurance, as well as to their election to participate in the medical and/or dependent care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA). All benefit election changes are effective January 1, 2023.

MAKING EDITS TO YOUR COMPLETED ENROLLMENT: Once you have enrolled, you will have until close of business on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 to make changes to your benefit selections for 2023. You can make changes by going to the auto responder email you will receive after your enrollment submission and clicking on the “Edit Submission” link that should be located below the form title.
