Emergency Services
Emergency Services is comprised of Fire Services Division, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Communications Division, Logistics Division, and Emergency Management Division. Our mission is to plan for, train for, exercise for, mitigate (prevent), respond to, recover from, and prevent harm from the impact of natural and man-made disasters on the community.

Emergency Management Division
We are responsible for performing technical work in the development, implementation, and management of countywide disaster prevention, protection, recovery and mitigation activities as well as dispatching all Fire and EMS 9-1-1 calls and keeping up the 800Mhz Radio system in the County.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Bay County Emergency Medical Services operates several Advanced Life Support Paramedic Mobile Intensive Care units from locations throughout Bay County including Callaway, Lynn Haven, Panama City, Panama City Beach and other locations and responds to approximately 28,000 calls for assistance per year.
